X Downloader: Free X/Twitter Video Downloader

X Downloader is a free online tool for saving videos, GIFs and images from public X (Twitter) posts. Paste a post link, pick a quality, and download the file straight to your device. No signup, no app install and no watermark are required, and it works in any modern browser on desktop and mobile.

Key features:

• Download public X/Twitter videos as MP4 in every available quality, from small mobile-friendly sizes up to the highest resolution the post offers.
• Convert a video’s audio to MP3 for podcasts, music clips, interviews and spaces highlights.
• Bulk-resolve up to 10 post links at once, which saves time when collecting several clips for research, reporting or archiving.
• Render clean screenshots of posts so you can keep a visual record of a tweet, including its text and media.
• Save GIFs and images from posts in their original quality.
• Fast processing with simple one-step flow: copy the post URL, paste it into the box, choose a format, and download.

Who it is for: Journalists and researchers who need to archive public posts, social media managers who repurpose content they own or have permission to reuse, educators who collect examples for lessons, and everyday users who want to watch a clip offline. The tool only works with publicly available posts; private or protected accounts cannot be accessed.

Why people choose it: The interface is minimal and ad-light, so there is nothing to learn. Everything runs from the web page, there are no accounts to create, and there is no limit on how often you can use it for personal needs. It is free to use, supports many languages, and is designed to be fast and reliable on slow connections as well as on fast ones.

How it works:

1. Open the X post you want to save and copy its link (use the Share menu and choose Copy link).
2. Paste the link into the X Downloader input on https://xdownloader.site/ and press Download.
3. Select the quality or format you want: MP4 video in a specific resolution, MP3 audio, a GIF, an image, or a post screenshot.
4. Click the download button and the file is saved to your device.

Please respect creators’ rights. Download only content you own, have permission to use, or that is allowed under fair use, and credit the original author when you share it.
